During the course, you will learn how to dive in a dry suit, at night, on the wrecks, using nitrox blends or how to protect underwater nature. Many exciting dive sites are located in deeper water. Without proper training, this kind of diving puts you at risk. The SSI Deep Diving Specialty will give you the ability to safely and comfortably plan and conduct dives beyond 18 meters, and is a prerequisite for some advanced training. This program teaches the skills and concepts required to safely dive using enriched air mixtures of 32% or 40% oxygen.
The SSI Enriched Air Nitrox program will teach you how to safely plan and dive with enriched air mixtures of up to 40% oxygen. Diving with enriched air can increase your no-decompression limits, increase your safety, and reduce the required length of your surface intervals when compared to air. You will earn the SSI Enriched Air Nitrox 32% or 40% certification after completing this program.
Initial requirements:
If you’re a Open Water Diver who is at least 10 years old, you can enroll in the Enriched Air Diver Specialty course. Note that in some regions the minimum age than 10.

Open Water Divers or higher, who are at least 12 years old, are eligible to take the Scooter DPV course.

React Right is SSI’s emergency training program, consisting of the following basic components: Primary Assessment, First Aid & CPR Skills, Primary Stabilization Techniques, and includes two optional components: Oxygen Administration in Diving Emergencies and Automated External Defibrilation Basics. Students who complete this program earn the SSI React Right specialty certification.
