Basic course SSI Open Water

This globally-recognized certification program is the best way to begin your life-long adventure as a certified scuba diver. Personalized training is combined with in-water practice sessions to ensure you have the skills and experience required to become truly comfortable underwater. You will earn the SSI Open Water Diver certification.

Initial requirements:

Minimum age of a trainee: 10 years old.

Required skills:

Swimming skill (ability to swim 200m without fins or 300m with fins).

How long does the course last?

Course consists of six theory sessions, six pool sessions and four open water dives. To acquire OWD certification, you need 4 days.

What’s included in the price?

6 theory sessions, 6 pool sessions, full set of diving equipment for the duration of the course, 4 open water dives.

Where are we training?

Naturally on Malta, in our diving center. Pool sessions take place only 200 meters from our base, and as for open water dives… We have over 20 wonderful dive sites where you can practice.
