Patrol Boat P31
The ship was built in 1969 in the former German Democratic Republic as a Condor class boat intended for sapper activities. 52 metres long, 7 metres wide, and 361 tons, exactly the same as its twin brother P-29. In the patrol service of Malta Navy since 1992. Many maritime missions, combating smuggling, and numerous rescue operations until 2004. In 2009, it was adapted for diving and sunk on the eastern shore of Comino. The maximum depth of 19m makes a big and nice wreck accessible also for OWD certified divers. Diving on it is unforgettable.
