PADI Rescue Diver

Further stage of diving development, which allows you to gain skills above the level of typical recreational diving. During the course we teach how to successfully conduct rescue operations, how to give first aid to a diver and how to deal with a diving accident.

Initial requirements:

PADI (Junior) Adventure Divers who are at least 12 years old and have completed the Underwater Navigation Adventure Dive may enroll in a Rescue Diver course. You also need to have Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care (CPR and First Aid) training within the past 24 months.

What do we teach?

Auto-rescue, recognizing signs of stress in divers, rescue operation management, crisis situation management, rescue of panicked divers, rescue of unresponsive divers.

How long does the course last?

Usually the whole course takes 3-4 days, however, everything depends on your determination and physical condition.

Where are we training?

Naturally on Malta, in our diving centre – classes take place in open water, 200 meters from our base.

What’s included in the price?

Theory sessions, open water dives.
