Basic course Padi Open Water

Open Water Diver (OWD) is the most popular diving course for beginners all over the world. It teaches basic skills and theoretical knowledge sufficient to dive to a maximum depth of 18 meters. Course consists of theory sessions, pool sessions and open water dives. After finishing the training, you will get a PADI diving certificate recognized by diving centers all over the world.

Initial requirements:

Minimum age of a trainee: 10 years old. Participants aged between 10-14 years receive a Junior Open Water Diver certification.

Required skills:

Swimming skill (ability to swim 200 m without fins or 300 m in fins).

How long does the course last?

Course consists of five theory sessions, five pool sessions and four open water dives. To acquire OWD certification, you need 4 days.

What’s included in the price?

5 theory sessions, 5 pool sessions, full set of diving equipment for the duration of the course, 4 open water dives.

Where are we training?

Naturally on Malta, in our diving center. Pool sessions take place only 200 meters from our base, and as for open water dives… We have over 20 wonderful dive sites where you can practice.
