Take the first step to become a professional diver and get new, unique profession

PADI Divemaster course is the first occupational course. Finishing this course makes you full member of PADI. The goal of this course is to develop your skills as an underwater guide and instructor’s assistant. During the course you will participate in exercises which will improve your problem-solving skills and your ability to help other divers. You will use that knowledge during practice dives, when teaching classes and helping the instructor during the training.

As a certified Divemaster, you will be able to take part in a diving instructor course.

Initial requirements:

To take part in the course you need to: have RD certification or equivalent; be at least 18 years old; have completed EFR training in the last 24 months; have logged in at least 40 dives to start the course and 60 to finish it; have doctor’s note confirming lack of contraindications to diving signed in the last 12 months.

What do we teach?

You will oversee and assist with training dives and regular dives, led by certified divers. By taking part in the course, you get an opportunity of direct contact with both trainee divers and certified divers right from the start. You will learn how the diving business operates and how does the work in a professional diving centre PADI really looks like.

How long does the course last?

Naturally on Malta, in our diving centre.

What give You the Divemater certificate ?

New opportunities, new trade, overseeing and assisting with training dives, as well as taking up a job as an underwater guide during dives with certified divers.. Divemaster can run Discover Local Diving programme, Scuba Review programme for certified divers, Discover Snorkeling programme, PADI Skin Diver course, as well as underwater photography course and first aid course. As a certified Divemaster, you will be able to take part in a diving instructor course.
