HMS Maori

She was sank as a result of bombing by German aircraft in February 1942 in Grand Harbour Valletta, taking one of the crewman with her. HMS Maori served during the World War II, fighting at the North Sea and assisting as convoy escort on route to Norway. However, its’ most well-known mission was the destruction of battleship Bismarck. HMS Maori helped with rescue of the crew of Bismarck after she sank.
