Dive site with a wonderful view of Popeye Village
Popeye village was built as a scenery for a fiction film from 1980 starring Robin Williams. Currently, Popeye Village is a tourist attraction and extraordinary scenery for divers visiting the bay. The dive site took its’ name from a huge sank anchor, easily reachable for divers of all levels. This place attracts a lot of underwater creatures. It’s a perfect spot for a check dive or night diving.
Another unforgettable attraction is a small system of caves, which allows to resurface and see the vault of the cathedral.
Anchor Bay is one of the most peaceful places on Malta, available to divers of all levels!
