This is the first of two wrecks in Cirkewwa, which was sunk in 2007 specifically for the purpose of diving tourism. P29 began its service in the German Navy as a minelayer, and then started the service in Malta. The ship was withdrawn from the service in the Maltese navy and sunk on 14.08.2007, to the delight of divers. The maximum depth of the wreck is 32 meres with the length of 45 meters. P29 is available from the shore. After about 5 minutes we reach the wreck standing on the keel. Great mast, a lot of places to penetrate, and the diversity of marine life makes it a very popular dive spot. The ship is easy to penetrate. Its dangerous parts have been removed. On the wreck, there is a characteristic machine gun, which is a great place to take a spectacular photo.
