Billinghurst Cave

Billinhurst Cave is yet another dive site at the north of Gozo. It’s the longest cave in the area, located just a several dozen meters from Cathedral Cave and Reqqua Poin. Descent into the water is quite steep here. Entrance to the cave begins at about 20 meters. We swim through it into the vast cavern, in which we can move freely even in a large group. Billinghurs Cave is the longest cave on Gozo, its’ length amounts to 130 meters. After reaching a place studded with rocks where the bottom starts to ascend, we turn back towards the entrance of the cave. We continue in the direction of the Reqqua point, while seizing the opportunity to adore rock formations and underwater life from up close in this marvellous place. Minimum requirements: AOWD certification, maximum depth: 27m.
